What’s new in this version?
Main new features and improvements
Several improvements are available in the Modbus serial master interface: An update time can be configured and reads of registers can be done separately with a configurable pause time between reads.
Module import in I/O manager: signal addresses can be imported in hex or decimal format for modules supporting hex and decimal address format. The export is done using the format used in the signal grid.
The OPC UA client interface now supports 64 bit integer data types. Tags with a data type derived from an enumeration data type can be read as signed 32-bit integer.
Important bugfixes
ibaQDR measuring location numbers were not correct in the product file when using measuring locations in front of the tracking start (bug introduced in v7.1.2).
The ibaPDA service could crash when reading text signals from the ibaPDA OPC server.
The ibaQPanel offline trend graph couldn’t open dat files when it was running as ActiveX in WinCC.
The S7-Xplorer feature "Optimized memory usage" didn't work when a tag contained multiple array indexes.
System could crash during shutdown when CP1616 or CP1626 boards were installed.
Please note that the support for ibaPDA v6 expires on May 31, 2020.
