What’s new in this version?

New Features

• The History section of the main menu now also contains the email history. It lists all alarm emails that ibaManagementStudio has sent in the last 3 months.
• WIBU tickets can now be added to or removed from a license container without updating the license.
• For ibaDatCoordinator (v2027.0.0 or later), a dedicated software page is displayed in the system overview, showing the license, server status, jobs and tasks. The server support file can be downloaded from the “Product Information” tab.
• For ibaCMC (v3.9.0 or later), all systems connected to the ibaCMC server are displayed on the “Overview” and “Devices” tabs.

Important Improvements

• Installer files from the iba Cloud installer repository will no longer be downloaded automatically after three failed attempts, e.g. if the file is corrupted or the storage medium is full.
• The MARX license update dialog displays all messages related to the dongle update, including error messages if the update fails (for all updates starting Nov. 2026 using ibaDongleUpgrade v8.1.0 or later).
• The warning that a license update will affect the running system is no longer displayed for WIBU license updates. For MARX license updates, it continues to be displayed.
• If no server alias is defined, the root folder and server activities in the action history are displayed with the default name "ibaManagementStudio".
• Sensitive data, such as passwords, is now encrypted using dedicated keys for the server and the agent. The keys are automatically generated on first start and saved in the backup.

Bugfixes

• The time limit of an ibaManagementStudio+ license was not displayed in the license overview.
• Permissions of a user were not displayed on the user management page after reloading the page.
• Group permissions of a domain user who is a member of several groups were displayed incorrectly.
