ibaHD-Server - HDS2026-04

To run ibaHD-Server v3.6.x the EUP date of 2026-03-31 or later is needed.

What’s new in this version?

Improvements

• Systems with a large number of products stored in a length-based store now start up significantly faster, since the product index is no longer fully loaded at startup.
• A store that was disabled (e.g. a drive which was temporarily not available) is now automatically re-enabled as soon as the problem is resolved, without requiring a manual restart.

Important Bugfixes

• In v3.6.4 the bug introduced in v3.6.3 that DAT file import will abort with message of a missing license, was fixed.
• Corrected duplicate column detection for the built-in time period info fields _AutoClose and _DataMissing when updating the list of info fields.
• Fixed missing default settings for standard time period fields on newer SQL dialect versions, restoring compatibility with the ibaAnalyzer info field feature.
• Time period write operations are no longer allowed to run in parallel with a store migration, preventing checksum mismatches that could cause the migration to fail.
• Fixed an issue where index files could not be deleted after an earlier failed attempt to delete a store, including stores containing multiple time period stores.

Important Note for ibaHD-Server-API-Read (v3.6.x)

• If you request additional out-of-time-range sample values (add_extra_sample_out_of_time_range = TRUE) in the ‘GetRawChannelData’ request, not all of them may be returned, as this depends on whether the specified time aligns with an actual measured value or the measurement grid, as well as on the data type being queried. For more details see GetRawChannelData().
• This issue will be addressed in v3.7.0
