For using ibaDaVIS v3.4.x you need an ibaDaVIS license with a valid EUP date of 2026-02-16 or later.
New Features
- With the new Document Display Tile, you can present images and PDF files directly on your dashboard. Ideal for showing process images, product documentation, or visual references directly within the dashboard. Supports different view modes such as side by side or gallery.
- When the dashboard table tile references to the Document Display Tile file lists (images, PDFs) including attributes like file name, extension, and creation date are displayed. Selecting an item in the table automatically updates the Document Display Tile with the referenced image. Useful for browsing and displaying collections of process documentation or image sets.
- On dashboards the option free tile positioning can be enabled. With this option activated, you can arrange tiles exactly where you need them with no more grid restrictions. Create dashboards that mirror your workflow.
- The new Dashboard Background Image allows setting a background image that fills the dashboard. Tiles remain in the foreground. For plant layouts, branding, or simply giving your dashboard a distinctive visual identity.
- Conditional Colors for Tables, Scatter Charts & Value Displays, previously available for line charts only now also work for scatter charts, tables, and value displays. Highlight trends, draw attention to critical values, or visually separate categories with intuitive color rules.
- Extended Dark Mode - Dark mode now includes the login page, info page, settings, and dashboard overview. The color scheme settings also display automatically generated shades for light/dark designs. The dark design allows page content to be displayed with sufficient contrast in a modern way, even in difficult lighting conditions.
Improvements
- By selecting a category as the source for signal color changes in line charts, value display tiles, tables, or scatter plots, an automatic default setting reduces the configuration effort.
- With a new dialog, dashboard properties can now be edited directly in the dashboard.
Bugfixes
- The signal tree did not support the Grouped sorting mode when time-based HD signals were visualized.
- Scatter plot – Conditional colors were not applied for signals from DAT files in display mode order by sequence.
- Signal names with colons caused malfunctions during visualization.
- For performance reasons, the number of visualized Time Periods is limited to 50.
- Virtual signals that are assigned as local at the tile cannot be edited when selected for visualization.
- Switching between tile types during configuration caused errors.
