New Features
- ibaCapture v5.7.0 extends the iba system with integrated LAND thermal imagers, enabling customers to acquire, store, visualize, and analyze thermal data synchronously together with other plant and process data.
- To ensure accurate temperature measurement and straightforward interpretation of the thermal images, ibaCapture v5.7.0 supports per Region of Interest (ROI) emissivity settings and the display of temperature values, as well as hot and cold spots. Focus control and shutter operation are also accessible via ibaPDA signals. By this, the iba system supports all relevant thermal camera data and functions, enabling flexible and efficient root-cause analysis of thermal problems.
Improvements
- ibaCapture v5.7.0 integrates the new SDK of Optris. This ensures to support all Optris camera models including the newest models Xi 1M and Xi 05M, which are designed for the metal industry.
- With ibaCapture v5.7.0, assigning and removing user groups is simplified, enabling more intuitive handling of user management settings.
- In previous ibaCapture versions, hardware acceleration in the LAV decoder is disabled by default. Additionally, even when enabled, the configuration is stored per user in the Windows registry, requiring manual activation for each user account on the system. Starting with ibaCapture v5.7.0, the player checks for available hardware acceleration at startup and automatically configures if for usage.
