New features
- ibaNet-E High Performance (HP) using ibaN-2E and ibaM-COM:
When using ibaN-2E together with the central unit ibaM-COM (firmware v01.05.001 or higher) in ibaPDA the ibaNet-E transmission can be set to “High Performance” (HP).
With ibaNet-E HP a data throughput of 750 Mbit/s for each interface of an ibaN-2E board and a synchronization accuracy up to 1 μs between more than one ibaM-COM system is possible.
Further requirements are needed for ibaNet-E HP, mainly a dedicated ibaNet-E network with a maximum of 10 ibaM-COM systems in daisy chain. - Neighbor detection for ibaNet-E: Neighbor detection allows connected ibaNet-E devices to be detected and queried for HP ability.
Improvements
- The Network settings of the ibaN-2E board are modified: Properties half duplex and 10 Mbps are now removed.
Note: All these new features require ibaPDA v8.12.0 (or higher).
