Hardware - HWA2026-04

In order to use the new features of both new versions ibaPDA v8.15.0 (or higher) is required. 

1.    ibaMAQS – New Version v01.08.001

New features

• Support of ibaM-8DI-220V, which is a new input module for the ibaMAQS modular system with eight digital input channels. This module is designed for voltage level measurements with typical 220 V DC. Each channel has 4 different debouncing filters.

Improvements

• For the central unit ibaM-DAQ of the ibaMAQS modular system, time synchronization has been improved. This results in no gaps or overlaps between subsequent DAT files when time synchronization is used with these two modes (to be configured in ibaPDA):
  • o PTP via ibaNet: The sample clock is synchronized with a high precision PTPv2 master clock via the ibaNet interfaces. The Windows system time is also synchronized with the same source.
  • o NTP via Windows: The sample clock is synchronized with the Windows system time.
• For the central unit ibaM-COM of the ibaMAQS modular system, a network check was added in ibaPDA.
  This evaluates the network connected to ibaM-COM and, if necessary, recommends required configurations for 'network setup' (reliability of the network connection) and 'receive timeout' (ibaNet-E communication to ibaM-COM).
  Furthermore, the device name of the connected ibaM-COM was added to the info tab in ibaPDA.
• For the module ibaM-4AI-IEPE of the ibaMAQS modular system, the minimum calculation interval of the statistical values was reduced to 10 ms.

 2.    ibaN-2E – New Version v01.03.001

Improvements

• The time synchronization in ibaPDA has been improved. This results in no gaps or overlaps between subsequent DAT files when time synchronization is used with the two modes (to be configured in ibaPDA) as mentioned above for the ibaMAQS firmware update:
  • PTP via ibaNet (X8/X9): The sample clock is synchronized with a high precision PTPv2 master clock via the ibaNet interfaces (X8/X9). The Windows system time is also synchronized with the same source.
  • NTP via Windows: The sample clock is synchronized with the Windows system time.
