What’s new in this version?
New features
Both installations (x86 and x64) are now included in a single installer. The bit-mode (32 bit or 64 bit) can be chosen during the installation (on 64 bit systems). With this improvement, the new installer works the same way as for other iba tools.
Time period info fields can be updated via the new time period update dialog. It is also possible to add new values (info fields, computed values) including meta data (units, comments,…) and a global comment for the time period.
The ibaHD-Server selection dialog has been expanded by the option to mark certain servers as favorites. Also a new tab “Favorites” has been added, providing the list of favorites. Favorites are stored after closing the dialog.
Non equidistant data from ibaHD-Server are supported in ibaAnalyzer. The sub-channels of digital signals are represented by the sub-channel “edgeCount”.
ibaAnalyzer now supports the encoding of stored video to different resolutions, formats or qualities during export. This enables archiving videos in a compact format and exporting video with overlay images.

An Html5 manual is integrated in ibaAnalyzer and replaces the previous help-dialog. The manual is opened via the item “Help” in the menu “Help” or by pressing F1 anywhere in ibaAnalyzer.
The search dialog has been expanded by the option to include the $PDA_S7_Operand infofield into the search.
The new function DynSignal which interprets a text expression as signal ID now also supports wildcards.
Improved support for HDPI display settings and custom font scaling. The DPI awareness now can be changed. The default setting is “DPI unaware with better GDI scaling”.
ibaAnalyzer doesn’t crash when exporting files with videos or when translating channel numbers to channel names or vice versa.
Logicals can now also be used as inputs in ActiveX views.
