Main New Features and Improvements
- To establish secure communication with cameras, ibaCapture now also includes a certificate store and supports https connections to Axis cameras and ONVIF devices. Setting up cameras can now be done fully encrypted, preventing unauthorized access and protecting sensitive production data. This enhancement helps customers meet IT security standards and deploy camera-based monitoring with higher confidence, data integrity, and operational reliability.
- ibaCapture v5.6.0 now supports seamless integration of Optris thermal cameras (38.000034 | ibaCapture-1CAM-Optris), with measurement values directly accessible in ibaPDA once communication with ibaCapture is established. This feature enables customers to monitor their production lines with an additional, highly valuable dimension: precise thermal data, supporting more comprehensive quality control and inspection processes.
