New Features

With ibaHD-Server v3.1.0 the new ‘Time period’ feature is introduced. A time period is defined by a start time, a stop time and a name. A time period defines a time range that belongs to a time-based HD store. A time period can also have info fields. These info fields are used to store extra information about the time range such as product identifier or KPIs calculated over the time period. One can think of a time period as marked product or a process section and the associated signals are stored at one ibaHD time-based store. The time periods are configured in ibaPDA (v8.2.0 or later) and can be stored in an internal or external SQLite database.

Time periods can be displayed and filtered in ibaPDA.

Time periods can be requested via a new API command (see the API documentation for details).

Important Improvements

Encryption of the communication to different iba tools like ibaPDA or ibaDatCoordinator.

Encryption of configuration files to increase security levels for user names and passwords.

Bugfixes

ibaPDA, which is connected only for a short time, will no longer create short segments of the store which contains data for only 10 seconds.

Creation of small 10-seconds-segments will be avoided in case of deleting signals of a store via HD-Manager and clean up procedure remove segments later.

‘Cancel’ button in log in screen of ibaPDA Server to ibaHD-Server does abort the login process completely.
