What’s new in this version?

Main new features and improvements

The new Ethernet-based ibaNet-E interface is introduced for connecting future iba devices via Ethernet instead of fiber optic cables. The first device supporting ibaNet-E is the central unit ibaW-750 for the WAGO I/O system 750 which is also available from now on and supported by this version of ibaPDA.

In the Modbus TCP client interface now also for writing the maximum number of registers and coils can be configured.

Operand addresses for the Melsec-Xplorer can be displayed in octal base.

Important bugfixes

Increasing the number of cameras on a connected ibaCapture system with active PTZ signals caused an improper stop of the acquisition.

Melsec/SINAMICS/SIMOTION-Xplorer: Signed 32-bit integer values were not properly displayed in the diagnostics grid.

Firmware update of ibaCom-L2B, ibaFOB-S, ibaFOB-X, ibaFOB-SD and ibaFOB-TDC in the I/O manager didn't work anymore (bug introduced in v7.0.0).

Bugfixes regarding virtual text signals and text modules.

S7-Xplorer: Reading non-consecutive parts of an optimized array didn't work correctly.

S7 address book: TIA online address book could be missing data in some DBs.

Please note that the support for ibaPDA v6 expires on May 31, 2020.
