What makes it special: all proceeds are matched by the company and then donated to charitable causes. This is why many colleagues take part with particular enthusiasm. The choice of where the funds go is also made by the workforce itself. All employees can submit suggestions and actively help decide which projects are supported.
A wide range of projects – local and international
This year, iba AG supported a variety of initiatives with a total of €5,000:
- Construction of a school building in Dimapur (India)
iba AG is supporting the construction of a school building for a children’s home in Nagaland—a project that creates long-term opportunities. - Sternstunden – Wir helfen Kindern
A donation was made to the well-known charity initiative run in cooperation with Bayerischer Rundfunk, supporting children in need. - Der Bunte Kreis / Harl.e.kin (Klinikum Fürth)
Part of the proceeds went towards follow-up care for premature babies and support for affected families. - Förderverein Katastrophenschutz Nürnberg e. V.
In collaboration with the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), iba AG supported volunteer efforts in civil protection, helping to modernize command and coordination equipment. - TV 09 Dietenhofen e. V.
iba AG funded the purchase of new table tennis tables for inclusive sports activities.
The auction creates a dual benefit: items are reused while funds are raised for good causes. With the proceeds are topped up by the company, the overall donation amount increases even further.
A special thank you goes to all colleagues who placed bids, submitted proposals, and once again brought this initiative to life.
