Request a ibaPDA-Demo LicenseModern production plants often operate with controllers, drives, and fieldbus systems from multiple vendors. With ibaPDA and interfaces such as ibaPDA-PLC-Xplorer, ibaBM-PN, or EtherNet/IP, data from different automation systems can be acquired synchronously and consolidated within a single platform. This makes correlations between control logic, process behavior, and machine responses transparent. As a result, optimization of complex plant structures becomes significantly easier.
During commissioning, many short-term or difficult-to-reproduce effects occur that are often missed by conventional diagnostic tools. ibaPDA continuously records process and control data at high resolution without requiring manual triggering. With ibaAnalyzer, engineers can compare signal trends in detail and evaluate machine responses to parameter changes. This accelerates validation of optimizations and reduces commissioning time.
Stable automation processes require clear visibility into cause-and-effect relationships. The iba system records signals from controllers, sensors, drives, and fieldbus systems using a common time base. This enables precise analysis of time-critical interactions between different process areas. With ibaAnalyzer, unstable control loops, communication issues, or sporadic process deviations can be identified accurately.
Production plants are continuously expanded, requiring integration of additional sensors and data interfaces. The iba system provides extensive process connectivity for analog, digital, and bus-based signal sources. Using modules such as ibaBM-DP, ibaBM-PN, or ibaDAQ, new data sources can be integrated flexibly and recorded synchronously with existing process data. This ensures a consistent data foundation even as automation requirements grow.
Recurring process faults are often caused by unnoticed patterns or unstable operating conditions. With ibaPDA, limit monitoring, signal linking, and automated monitoring functions can be implemented directly within the acquisition system. In addition, ibaInCycle and ibaInSpectra enable real-time online analysis of cyclic processes and vibration data. This allows deviations to be detected early and standardized processes to be stabilized sustainably.
