The system measures grid values, such as current and voltage, in a grid-synchronous manner, and internally calculates all the parameters required in the standard EN 50160. These characteristic values are calculated according to the standard IEC 61000-4-30 Ed. 3 Class A, the highest quality class.
For this purpose, ibaPQU-S was subject to a comprehensive examination in the certification lab of the Technical University Dresden. Thus, ibaPQU-S fulfills the requirements for contract-relevant measurements and the report generated therefrom can be used as proof. Values not listed in the standard, e.g. power, energy, etc. are also calculated with very high accuracy.
By the synchronous measurement of the power quality with ibaPQU-S and the measurement of the process variables with ibaPDA, system operators can, for example, prove whether and to what extent their system influences the power grid. The causes of grid problems caused by the process can thus be analyzed.
