ibaFOB-R: Connection to the Reflective Memory World

iba AG introduces the new ibaFOB-R network card for connecting the iba system to the Reflective Memory world. This addition enhances the process connectivity of the iba system and enables deterministic data acquisition in real time.
iba AG is expanding its product portfolio with the new ibaFOB-R network card. This PCIe plug-in card allows control systems based on Reflective Memory to be seamlessly integrated into the iba system. Reflective Memory enables real-time synchronization and data exchange between multiple systems, and is particularly used in complex, distributed control systems and simulations within industrial environments. Combined with ibaPDA (from version 8.8), the ibaFOB-R card facilitates data acquisition in these settings and simplifies deterministic and reliable real-time data communication. To capture data in ibaPDA through Reflective Memory, only the ibaPDA-Interface-Reflective-Memory license needs to be activated.
This makes ibaFOB-R flexible for integration into both existing and new systems, thereby extending the process connectivity of the iba system.
