The text input control of ibaQPanel has been replaced by the value input control. This supports, among other things, the conversion of text into values, the input of multi-line texts and the validation of text input, thus offering simplified configuration and improved usability. In addition, ibaHD trend diagrams and time periods in ibaPDA can now be opened directly in ibaAnalyzer with just one click. This makes it even easier to analyze time periods selected in ibaPDA directly in ibaAnalyzer in detail. Time period data can be easily processed outside the iba system by exporting it to Excel or text files.
There are also new possibilities for users of Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs: The AB-Xplorer, which is used to collect data from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC-5, SLC-500 and MicroLogix controllers, now supports routed connections via a DH+ gateway. With version 8.5, ibaPDA also expands the audio interface so that several audio devices can be recorded simultaneously.
