The product ibaBM-CAN is discontinued.
ibaBM-CAN (order no. 13.122000) is a sniffer device for extracting data from CAN bus messages and acquiring this data with ibaPDA. This bus monitor was discontinued as of October 31, 2025 and is now replaced by a new sniffer solution for CAN bus applications.
This new solution consists of the CAN-to-Ethernet gateway module EMS EtherCAN CI-ARM9/RMD-IBA (manufactured by EMS Thomas Wünsche) and a new ibaPDA Ethernet interface (available in ibaPDA v8.12.0 or higher) to connect to this module.
This solution can be ordered as follows:
CAN-Ethernet-Gateway:
- 19.000040 CAN-Ethernet-Gateway, 2 channels
ibaPDA interface license:
- 31.001027 ibaPDA-Interface-CAN, 2 connections, max. 256
If additional CAN-Ethernet-Gateways should be used, the ibaPDA step-up license
- 31.101027, one-step-up-Interface-CAN, +2 connections,
max. 256 must be added for each gateway.
