What’s new in this version?
Improvements
- In previous ibaCapture versions, the buffer handling caused queued frames to be dropped, which could result in image artifacts when using VBR streams with significant bitrate bursts.
Starting with this version, the minimum buffer size has been increased to improve the handling of such VBR streams.
Bugfixes
- A memory leak that occurred during repeated reconnect attempts to unavailable ONVIF devices has been fixed.
- The PTZ settings panel was not visible in the camera configuration when a camera supported PTZ functionality, and PTZ commands were not executed correctly by the server.
- Some ONVIF cameras, such as Foscam and certain Vivotek models, could no longer be used after recent updates, but support for these devices has now been restored.
- A fallback mechanism ensures that temporarily unavailable cameras can connect again.
