Important improvements
With this new version of ibaHD-Server corrupted HD Data segments of a store backup will be ignored during the restore operation of backups. In previous versions a corrupt segment lead to a complete abort of the restore operation.
A warning message will occur during the validation process when the HD data store is configured on a network drive without using an intermediate store. The intermediate store is strongly recommended when the main HD data store is configured on a network drive. As a result of this, in some cases a warning is given during the validation although the configuration is not changed.
The alphanumeric sort order of HD stores is optimized. The consequence could be a changed order of HD stores for all online or offline clients (ibaPDA, ibaAnalyzer and ibaDatCoordinator). Analysis files and reports that refer to more than one HD store should be checked and adjusted if necessary.
