What’s new in these versions?

New Features

With this new version, an automatic download of the latest iba installers from the iba cloud is possible. For this option, the ‘Terms of Use for Software and License Update Functions’ must be accepted and an active internet connection is needed.

Now, there are three different options available for updating the local repository:

1. No automatic update: the installer can only be added via the web client

2. Local import folder: the installer will be copied from an import folder

3. iba Cloud installer repository: the installer will be copied from the AWS cloud

In the help menu of the web client a new link to the iba Help Center is added.

In the web client, it is now possible to display ibaCapture GigE Vision Encoder diagnostics on a new tab if the application is installed (requires ibaCapture v5.4.0 or higher).

ibaCapture-ScreenCam can be updated remotely via the web client.

Important Improvements

In the agent and server status application a dialog will warn the user if there are unsaved changes when the application should be closed.

Web client: A warning banner is shown on the top of the page if the repository is unavailable.

Bugfix

The server can start with a Windows default language code tr-TR.

Web client: The alarm page reports the correct expiration date for MARX licenses.

With this version, the server downloads the iba installer from the iba Cloud Installer repository only if the product is installed on at least one of the connected systems.

In some cases, it could happen that the product installation shows wrong status when systems are reconnected.

Web client: when downloading all license information of a system the wrong file extension was used.

Including the WIBU JSON file in the support files would fail for systems without any WIBU containers and an exception would be logged.
