What’s new in this version?
Main new features and improvements
Text signals are now supported in the generic modules of the interfaces S7 TCP/UDP, TDC TCP/UDP, VIP TCP/UDP, Sisteam TCP and Modbus TCP Server.
SQL interface: user defined connection names and a configurable connection timeout is now available.
The version of the connected database is shown after a successful connection test done in the SQL interface or the DB/cloud data store.
Several improvements regarding the virtual parameter set module are included.
Important bugfixes
S7-Xplorer interface:
Writing text signals didn’t work in TCP/IP S7-1x00 connection mode.
Writing text values that were longer than the maximum string length caused a stop of the acquisition.
The handling of NaN values was not correct in the SQL interface and DB/Cloud data store.
