iba AG expands its modular ibaMAQS measurement system with a new input module. The ibaM-4AI-UI module features four analog inputs for voltage and current measurement, making it particularly suitable for applications where analog process signals need to be acquired synchronously, accurately, and with high resolution. Each of the four channels can be configured individually for different measurement ranges.

The module supports voltage measurements up to DC 60 V and current measurements up to DC 20 mA. It offers a maximum sampling rate of 100 kHz, and all four channels are galvanically isolated from each other. This allows reliable and precise acquisition of classic sensor signals, industrial standard signals, fast signal transients, short-term events, or dynamic processes.

The modular measurement system can be flexibly configured and deployed for a wide range of applications. It enables versatile signal acquisition via the ibaPDA process data acquisition software. Typical use cases include scenarios where analog signals need to be captured close to the machine and combined with other process data. These include mobile or moving equipment such as cranes, locomotives, mining trucks, or specialized vehicles, as well as test benches, special-purpose machines, and energy applications. Software solutions for real-time process monitoring also enable edge analytics applications.

The ibaMAQS system allows highly accurate, synchronous measurement data acquisition from multiple sources and can be adapted flexibly to new requirements thanks to its modular design. Different I/O modules can be combined with a central unit to implement customized measurement solutions. With the ibaPDA process data acquisition software, captured signals are immediately available within the iba system and can be analyzed alongside additional process and machine data. This creates a consistent data foundation for fault analysis, process optimization, and quality documentation.
